MBS-1C41-33isahighperformance,cost effective modules, which is supporting Multi Rate 2.125~11.3Gbps,andtransmissiondistanceupto 15km.

Thetransceiverconsistsoftwosections:The BOSAsectionincorporatesaDFBLaseranda PIN-TIA.ThePCBsectionconsistsofaMCUand anICwhichismadeupofLDDriverandpost amplifier.Themoduleishotpluggableintothe 20-pinconnector.Thehigh-speedelectrical interfaceisbaseonlowvoltagelogic,withnominal 100OhmsdifferentialimpedanceandACcoupled in the module.

TheopticaloutputcanbedisabledbyLVTTLlogic high-levelinputofTX_DIS.TransmitFault (Tx_Fault)isprovidedtoindicatethatthemodule transmitterhasdetectedafaultconditionrelatedto laseroperationorsafety.Lossofsignal(RX_LOS) outputisprovidedtoindicatethelossofaninput opticalsignalofreceiver.AserialEEPROMinthe transceiverallowstheusertoaccesstransceiver monitoringandconfigurationdataviathe2-wire SFPManagementInterface.Thisinterfaceusesa singleaddress,A0h,withamemorymapdivided intoalowerandupperarea.Basicdigital diagnostic(DD)dataisheldinthelowerareawhile specificdataisheldinaseriesoftablesinthehigh memoryarea.
