MBS-1C41-27 is a high performance, cost effective modules, which is supporting Multi Rate2.125~11.3Gbps,andtransmissiondistanceupto 15km.

The transceiver consists oftwo sections:The BOSAsectionincorporatesaDFBLaseranda PIN-TIA.ThePCBsectionconsistsofaMCUand anICwhichismadeupofLDDriverandpost amplifier.Themoduleishotpluggableintothe20-pin connector.The high-speedelectrical interfaceisbaseonlowvoltagelogic,withnominal100OhmsdifferentialimpedanceandACcoupled in the module.

TheopticaloutputcanbedisabledbyLVTTLlogic high-level input ofTX_DIS.Transmit Fault (Tx_Fault)isprovidedtoindicatethatthemodule transmitterhasdetectedafaultconditionrelatedto laseroperationorsafety.Lossofsignal(RX_LOS) outputisprovidedtoindicatethelossofaninput opticalsignalofreceiver.AserialEEPROMinthe transceiverallowstheusertoaccesstransceiver monitoringandconfigurationdataviathe2-wire SFPManagementInterface.Thisinterfaceusesa singleaddress,A0h,withamemorymapdivided into a lower andupper area. Basic digital diagnostic(DD)dataisheldinthelowerareawhile specificdataisheldinaseriesoftablesinthehigh memoryarea.
